Phyllis Ryser, a multi-talented teacher, and artist is the author of the novel “God’s Unwavering Promises”, which brings to life an unsung hero whose courage and faith helped change the course of world history. Ryser holds degrees from Abilene Christian University and Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is an avid student of the Bible and has been teaching classes from the Scriptures since her teenage years.

During a tour of Israel, Phyllis gained further insight into the lifestyles and work of the people from the Bible. Her adventures in plein-air landscape painting have taken her to various locations in the United States Germany, France, Greece, El Salvador, Italy, and Mexico. These travels gave her further insight into other cultures.

Phyllis resides in rural Northeast Texas with her husband Wayne. It’s common to see her standing in front of an easel, captivated by the sky as she captures the sunrise on canvas.
